1. Spring Schedule is now available. Click here to download.

2. For the safety of your child, please remain with them until they are on the gym floor with their coach. As well, help your child learn who their coach is, and their name.

3. Please do your best to be on time for all classes. Also, please ensure prompt pickup. Many of our classes run back to back, so it can get a little congested in the front foyer area. We thank you for doing your part to cut down on this congestion.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Capital City’s Brandon O’Neill, who helped the Canadian men’s team finish in 11th place at the World Gymnastics Championships in Stuttgart, Germany and qualify a full team to next summer’s Olympic Games. Brandon was the top gymnast for the team on floor, vault and parallel bars. Good luck next year in Beijing!

Long time Capital City gymnast Jeff Mortensen has recently secured a lucrative contract performing in Cirque Du Soleil’s Beatle’s show “LOVE”. Jeff had attended an open audition in June and was hired in September. We wish Jeff all the best in his new career.

Capital City would like to congratulate all of our athletes that were recognized at the Alberta Gymnastics Awards Banquet on September 29th.

 Brandon O’Neill was named Men’s Athlete of the Year for the second year in a row.

Ben Gervais, Bobby Kriangkum, Jackson Payne, Sasha Semeniuk and Jared Walls received National Achievement Awards.

Athlete Recognition Awards for being Provincial Champions were awarded to Alycia Roberts, Eryn Orysiuk, Kelsey Gillam and Samantha Ward.

Riley Schilf received a Provincial Achievement Award.

Capital City Gymnastics Club is dedicated to providing safe, high quality gymnastics in a state of the art facility. We encourage fun, physical fitness, family involvement and community spirit. Individuals of all ages and abilities are encouraged to develop in a positive respectful environment. We offer two equally important and interdependent programs - competitive and recreational.

About Capital City

Capital City offers several different programs for athletes of all ages and abilities.

We have over 1500 recreational members who participate in a variety of recreational gymnastics programs. Our recreational classes are available for ages one and up, and they run mornings, afternoons evenings and Saturdays. Please refer to the current schedule for class options and times.

We offer different services such as Birthday packages jam packed with fun, classes for outside user groups such as E.C.S., Playschools, Daycare, and private gym rentals and classes. During the summer months, spring break and Christmas school break, CCGC offers week long day camps.

Capital City has a large competitive program for both boys and girls. We offer a variety of competitive programs at all competitive ages for both boys and girls. Our programs cater to all ability levels, beginning at local, and moving through provincial to national and international levels. Admission to the program is based on the recommendation of the Competitive Head Coach. Our athletes succeed, please check out our results in the Competitive section of the website.

Capital City is proud to have two members of the Canadian Senior National Team, Brandon O'Neill and Jared Walls and one Junior National Team Member Jackson Payne as members of our club. They compete at international levels with much success.

We have a large staff of experienced recreational and competitive coaches who are all NCCP and first aid certified.
