Despite a gruelling month of international competition that’s taken him to Shanghai and Moscow and back home to Edmonton, Jackson Payne showed no signs of jet lag at Canadian gymnastics championships on Saturday, winning four individual event medals, including two gold on the final day of competition.

Canada program is rebuilding
Since the 2008 Olympics, four of the six members of the Olympic team have retired – Kyle Shewfelt, David Kikuchi, Grant Golding and Adam Wong – leaving Canada in a rebuilding phase.
